Traditional sports event was held on 23 December in Buta Palace. Of the Ministry of Youth and Sport has announced the names of the heroes of the sport. First, the minister of Azerbaijan, Mr. Azad Rahimov noted that the achievements of sport during the year. According to him, in 2011, Azerbaijan participated in 42 international competitions. Our athletes won 705 medals in 275 international tournaments. 276 medals among them are Olympic, 429 had won at the non-Olympic sports.
